Moonbike is an ultralight, fully electric snow vehicle that combines advanced technology, a durable construction, and exceptional agility. It was designed for riding in the most demanding winter conditions, therefore it delivers a quiet, dynamic, and zero emission alternative to traditional snowmobiles.
Moonbike is an innovative electric snow bike that is now joining the Geobike MFC portfolio, because it expands the range of modern electric vehicles into the winter mobility segment. The structure is based on an ultralight yet highly durable aluminum frame, which was engineered to achieve an optimal balance between stiffness, durability, and low weight. As a result, this directly translates into precise handling and high riding comfort in deep snow.
Stability and control are provided by a front ski made of high density polyethylene. This material remains resistant to low temperatures and mechanical damage, therefore it performs reliably in harsh winter environments. The ski geometry has been optimized for stability and smooth carving, while its replaceable design increases service life and reduces operating costs. At the rear, Moonbike uses a proprietary snow track with a width of 25.4 centimeters, which was specifically developed to maximize traction and flotation on snow, even in soft and challenging terrain.
At the core of the vehicle is a patented direct drive electric system delivering 3 kilowatts of power and 170 newton meters of torque. This configuration ensures instant throttle response and smooth acceleration, because it operates without noise, vibration, or exhaust emissions. The integrated brushless motor controller is fully sealed against moisture and frost, therefore it guarantees reliable performance even in extreme winter conditions. Moonbike reaches speeds of up to 42 kilometers per hour and offers a range of up to 64 kilometers, depending on the selected battery configuration.
The vehicle is fully adapted for low temperature operation. A heated battery enclosure ensures stable system performance at temperatures down to minus 25 degrees Celsius, which makes Moonbike suitable for both recreational riders and professional users. With a weight of only 87 kilograms without the battery, it is the lightest snow vehicle in its class. At the same time, it remains exceptionally easy to transport, store, and maneuver on narrow forest trails.
